THE SAME SPIRIT OF FAITH

1. Much has been taught about faith

a) Faith results in Justification Romans 5:1

b) Faith pleases God Hebrews 11:6

2. We have the same Faith as that of the Apostles

“We have the same spirit of faith”   1 Corinthians 4:13

3. The Challenge is to learn how to apply this spirit of faith

 

HOW FAITH HELPS US IN OUR LIFE AND MINISTRY

1. The Mercy of God 2 Corinthians 4:1

Thus, we do not lose heart

2. The Light of God 2 Corinthians 4:6

a) It shines in our heart

b) It dispels darkness

c) The light of the glory of the knowledge of God

3. Our faith in God is a special treasure 2 Corinthians 4:7

a) We may be but earthen vessels

b) Through faith we can see the power of God at work

4. Our triumphant spirit when we face Tribulation

a) We are hard pressed on every side, Yet not crushed 2 Cor. 4:8a

b) We are perplexed, But not in despair 2 Cor. 4:8b

c) Persecuted, But not forsaken 2 Cor. 4:9a

d) Struck down, But not destroyed 2 Cor. 4:9b

5. The Life of the Lord Jesus

a) It is manifested in our body 2 Cor. 4:10-11

b) It can bless many hearts 2 Cor. 4:15

6. The renewal of the inner man

a) The outward man will perish 2 Cor. 4:16

b) The inward man is renewed day by day 2 Cor. 4:16

7. Looking forward to the Eternal glory

a) Tribulation is “light affliction” 2 Cor. 4:17

b) It points to an eternity (eternal weight of glory) 2 Cor. 4:17
