a) Good works
b) Glorifying God
3. Submission for the Lord’s sake 1 Peter 2:13-16
a) The will of God
b) Doing good
c) As bondservants of God
THE EXAMPLE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IN SUFFERING
1. His example was meant to be followed 1 Peter 2:21
a) He committed no sin
b) Nor was deceit found in His mouth
c) He did not revile when He was reviled
d) He did not threaten when He suffered
e) He committed Himself to God who judges righteously
